Strengthening Rural Communities

The Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) Small & Vital stream (S&V) supports small rural, remote and very remote communities across Australia. It funds practical, community-led projects that benefit and strengthen local people and places. These grants are available thanks to the generous support of the donors listed at the bottom of this page. There are two funding levels in this round: small grants up to $10,000 and targeted larger leverage grants up to $50,000.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and assessed quarterly. NOTE: There are three streams of funding available within the Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) Program: Small and Vital (including Larger Leverage) and Prepare and Recover. Organisations may submit their application in ONLY ONE of these streams per SRC grant round and any other applications in this round will be considered ineligible.
