How do I contact Travis?
Travis and his electorate office can assist with a wide range of issues that fall under the responsibility of the South Australian Government.
This includes matters relating to roads, health services, hospitals, schools, housing, planning, local government, primary industries, tourism, regional development, the environment, emergency services and policing.
Priority is always given to assisting residents who live within the Mount Gambier electorate.

What can’t Travis help with?
Some matters fall under Federal Government responsibility and cannot be dealt with by a State Member of Parliament.
These include:
- Centrelink
- Medicare
- NDIS
- My Aged Care
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs
- Immigration and citizenship
- Australian Taxation Office matters
- Child support
- My Health Record

How do I apply for the Patient Assistance Transport Scheme (PATS)?
The Patient Assistance Transport Scheme (PATS) provides financial assistance to eligible South Australians who need to travel more than 100 kilometres each way to access specialist medical treatment.
Application forms are available from your referring doctor, local PATS office, or online through SA Health.

Can I request an Australian or South Australian flag?
Schools and not-for-profit organisations within the Mount Gambier electorate may be eligible to receive a South Australian flag through Travis’ office.
Please contact the electorate office to request a flag application form.

How do I enrol to vote?
All eligible Australian citizens aged 18 years and over are required to enrol to vote.
You can enrol to vote or update your enrolment details through the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC). Hard-copy enrolment forms are also available from our office.

How can I make a complaint about a council decision?
If you have concerns about a decision made by your local council, the first step is to contact the council directly and attempt to resolve the matter.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can request an internal review under Section 270 of the Local Government Act 1999.
This request must be made in writing.If the issue remains unresolved following the internal review process, you may lodge a complaint with the South Australian Ombudsman, who has the power to investigate complaints against local government authorities.
Certain council decisions may also be reviewed by the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT).

Do you offer Justice of the Peace services?
Yes. Justice of the Peace services are available through the electorate office from 9:00am to 4:30pm on business days.
We recommend contacting the office ahead of time to confirm JP availability.

Do you provide printing services for community groups?
Yes. Travis is pleased to support local community and not-for-profit organisations by assisting with the printing of newsletters and other community publications, subject to availability and parliamentary guidelines.
